The Pied Piper
-Newtown was known as an old, sleepy little town
-noise in the city used to come from rats
-A man (with a colorful dress) called Pied Piper wanted to get rid of all the rats in the town
-The Pied Piper began to play his pipe and run through town to the harbor. As he played, the rats followed him due to the sound from his pipe.
-The Pied Piper stepped into his boat and the rats followed and all died in the ocean.
-The town refused to pay him
-The Pied Piper decided to lead the town's children into the forests, where they never returned. That is why only elderly people reside there.
